QUALIFIED SPRAY PAINTER

Qualifications

  • 1 Year of experience working as an Industrial Painter is an asset.

Job Requirements

  • Read production / work orders carefully and understand order requirements.
  • Able to set up and operate an Air Spray gun.
  • Maintain the spray guns / equipment as applicable.
  • Preparing material for painting;
  • Troubleshoot and correct problems with the equipment / paint booth as they arise. Alert the maintenance department of any deficiencies in the operation of equipment.
  • Work in compliance and provisions of the Occupational Health and Safety Act, and the regulations as well within company policy and procedures.
  • Work well with others, possesses a positive attitude.
  • Work well under pressure, be able to meet quality production quota's.
  • Complete a paint test during your interview.
  • Follow direction, re-order painting supplies, keep track of your inventory.
  • Bring a strong work ethic and motivation to learn and progress.
  • General shop labour

Skills and Abilities

  • Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
  • Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic mathematical functions.
  • You must be able to multi-task in a fast paced changing environment
  • Own Transportation
  • Be punctual and reliable.

Sign Ontario Ltd. is seeking an intermediate creative industrial designer or graphic designer with good technical skills.  A highly creative skill set to develop conceptual designs for unique and innovative signage and branding concepts for corporate and retail environments.  The following are the skill and experience requirements for the position:

  • Highly creative
  • Good technical and basic mathematical skills
  • Photoshop, InDesign and Corel Draw, Illustrator
  • An understanding of Solidworks and SignLab or an aptitude for learning new programs
  • An understanding of typographic conventions and layout
  • Speed, accuracy and detail orientation
  • Logo design and corporate identity
  • Positive attitude, motivated, organized with the ability to multi-task and prioritize

SOLIDWORKS DESIGNER / MECHANICAL DESIGNER

About the Job
As the ideal candidate, you will have:

Educational background in a related field;
Formal training and experience in Solidworks, with strong knowledge and fundamental skills;
Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively independently and in teams;
Eager and capable to learn new skills and take on new challenges.

Complete a Solidworks test during your interview

Preferred, but not mandatory:
Previous experience in a sign manufacturing environment;
Flow simulation and routing experience within Solidworks;
Professional experience with AutoCAD.
